Jake Hawkins (he/him) is an award-winning conceptual illustrator and designer based in London, creating impactful and inclusive visual storytelling across editorial, publishing, advertising, marketing, and events. Since graduating with First-Class Honours in Illustration from Falmouth University, he has held in-house roles at The Telegraph and within LGBTQ+ media, before joining The Economist as senior designer. His clients include The Washington Post, The Guardian, and Gay Times.
Jake’s work is defined by clean, thoughtful compositions that turn complex ideas into clear, accessible visuals, combining a modern editorial style with bold, idea-driven imagery. His work has been recognised by the American Illustration Awards and the World Illustration Awards across the Editorial, Exploration, and Design & Packaging categories.
