This latest collection of self-initiated works by Oli Frape are inspired by a general alienation with modern online culture and some of its negative impacts on day-to-day life. The early internet promised a utopia of freedom, expression and connectivity but today’s online world seems increasingly dominated by a small number of wealthy men, a small number of less wealthy but even more toxic men, and all of the noise that they create in pursuit of their own enrichment. I miss Myspace, but more importantly, I miss the time before any of it existed and that’s not just me being nostalgic”
