This series originally began from a one-off piece Andrew was exploring around a ‘winter warmer’ concept – daydreaming of warmer climates in the UK winter with a warm brew! It has since grown from a tropical getaway to cover other climate zones and travel locations.
Each piece is built from a reduced 1-colour Mug sketch, building a scene from the shadow and highlight elements – The shadow of a handle could be an object like a hang glider – or just a part of another object, like someone’s hair! It triggers the start of a scene and Andrew would build from there.
