Michael Balogun for @nationaltheatre Bad News: Sadly Giles Terera will no longer be performing in 'Death of England: Delroy' following emergency surgery.⠀I feel gutted for him.

Good News: Michael Balogun, who has been understudying the role, will now play Delroy. He has got one of the most interesting back stories of any actor I’ve worked with. So it’s nice to see him be given this break and selfishly it was great to add his portrait to the set. Thanks again Louise and Ollie.

A day spent with my lifelong friend Cyrus AKA @hiatusmusic is a day well spent. We took these portraits ahead of the release of his next album (release early next year, EP dropping soon).
He’s also very kindly offering free advice to aspiring music producers
“An offer.
I see the chancellor has advised musicians and others in the arts world to retrain in light of the current crisis. Obviously everyone should do whatever they have to in order to survive, but if you’re a fledgling bedroom producer considering selling your gear because of the looming economic apocalypse – for which much responsibility rests with this current crop of finance bros masquerading as politicians – please don’t. The best music, like all art, comes out of troubled times.
Anyone who is trying to find their feet with electronic music production, who has a few tunes under their belt but can’t tell their strengths from weaknesses, or how best to progress, DM me on here (or @hiatusmusic on Twitter), and I’ll happily listen and offer advice. Probably best to start with three tracks at the most. It might take me a while to respond, but I promise to get back to you. Obviously I can’t guarantee you’ll suddenly find yourself making tons of money, but I’m guessing – unlike Sunak and friends – that’s not why you do what you do. And please share this if you know anyone who might benefit. Thanks.”
