Dan recently shot both the print ads and the online videos, for the Cannes Lions campaign.

“This was a funny but slightly tricky brief.  What with biting the hand that feeds you being a dubious pursuit and all that, we wanted our characters to seem a little hopeless, but not without a degree of hope.  According to the folks at the ad agency, all agencies have slightly useless people like these floating around, but we wanted to show that, given exposure to the wonder that is Cannes Lions, they could be saved.  As just a lowly photo bloke, I can’t say I’m so familiar with people like these.  But that Account Director does ring a bell.  As does that annoying Producer….In fact I think I’ve met them all!”
