Hawk on Hand is a brief look into the world of Los Angeles based falconer, Adam Baz.  Shot on location in East Los Angeles, overlooking downtown, Adam trains and works his birds.  Falconry is an ancient form of hunting dating back as far as 6,000 BC.  The practice, re-contextualized in metropolitan Los Angeles, gains new purpose and is a reprieve from the turbulence of urban society.
